Relay resolves, Registry records
Relay governs contradiction, synthesis, convergence, confidence, and final resolution before execution.
Registry does not replace that function. Its role is to preserve the identity and continuity of the participants that show up in those governed flows.
Trace-linked participation
A durable registry becomes more meaningful when later operational evidence can be attributed back to the same registered entity.
That does not mean Registry becomes the trace engine. It means the record can reference the fact of participation without collapsing the two layers together.
Why the boundary matters
If Registry is treated as Relay, the architecture blurs. If Relay is treated as Registry, participant continuity disappears.
The system only stays legible when the layers remain distinct and the connections between them are explicit.
V1 boundary
Increment 1 does not implement live trace inspection or public trace exposure on the Registry side.
It only establishes the explanatory model for how trace-linked continuity should work later.
